Espresso 101 at Fulton Moto 6pm-8pm
Tired of beating your head against your kitchen counter trying to figure out why your coffee just isn’t that good? Espresso 101 is a hands-on introduction to making better coffee without turning it into a science project.
Whether you’re brewing at home or curious about what goes on behind the bar at your favorite café, we’ll cover the fundamentals that actually make a difference.
We’ll get into:
-
Bean Preference – roast levels, origins, flavor profiles, and figuring out what you actually like
-
Pour Overs – grind size, ratios, water temperature, and technique
-
Siphon Brewers – how they work and what makes them different
-
Espresso Variables – dose, grind, yield, time, temperature, and how each changes the shot
-
Moka Pots & Home Brewing – making great coffee without an expensive setup
-
Commercial Espresso Machines – how café equipment works and how it differs from your home machine
-
Dialing In Espresso – tasting, adjusting, and troubleshooting until you get it right
-
Milk Steaming – temperature, texture, microfoam, and the basics of pouring
No experience necessary. Just show up ready to drink some coffee, ask questions, play with some equipment, and leave knowing how to make a much better cup at home.
