Job Description: Sales Associate + Barista (Part-Time)

Fulton Moto is looking for a part-time team member who’s equal parts people person, gear enthusiast, and coffee-connoisseur. This role blends retail sales on the moto side of the shop with operating our new espresso bar. If you love motorcycles, coffee, and being part of a growing, welcoming community, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

Retail & Sales

• Welcome customers and offer friendly, knowledgeable guidance through our curated motorcycle gear, apparel, and lifestyle products.
  
  
• Learn brand stories, materials, fit, safety ratings, and what separates premium gear from the rest.
  
  
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and keeping the floor sharp and inspiring.
  
  
• Ring up sales, process returns/exchanges, and maintain an organized work environment.
  
  

Barista & Espresso Service

• Prepare espresso drinks with consistency and pride in quality.
  
  
• Operate high-end equipment (La Marzocco, grinders, etc.).
  
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient coffee prep area.
  
  
• Help refine our small espresso menu as the program grows.
  
  

Community & Event Support

• Engage in the Fulton Moto ecosystem: Bikes & Coffee events, launches, workshops, rides, and more.
  
  
• Provide guest support during events (serving coffee, retail assistance, general hospitality).
  
  
• Represent the Fulton Moto ethos, friendly, knowledgeable, and community-oriented.
  
  

Compensation

• Base hourly pay: To be discussed based on experience.
  
  
• Tips: Full share of tips earned from the espresso bar.
  
  
• Sales Commission: Small commission paid on all retail sales.
  
  
• Room to grow as the espresso program and overall business expand.
  
  

Qualities We’re Looking For

• Experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or barista work (experienced baristas strongly preferred but not required).
  
  
• Comfortable talking motorcycles, gear, routes, events, and moto culture.
  
  
• Able to work weekends and occasional evenings for events.
  
  
• Positive attitude, self-starter mentality, and strong team player.
