A One-of-One Ducati and Original Artwork

This 2015 Ducati Scrambler Café Custom is a one-of-one motorcycle designed and built by artist and designer Ryan Danger, with frame modifications performed by custom motorcycle builder Sean Skinner of MotoRelic.

The project began with a brand-new, first-generation 2015 Ducati Scrambler Icon and was transformed into Ryan’s interpretation of a Scrambler-based café racer. The finished motorcycle combines Ducati’s retro-modern Scrambler platform with extensive custom fabrication, minimalist bodywork, and Ryan’s distinctive design language.

The build predates Ducati’s own production Scrambler Café Racer, which debuted several years later.

The motorcycle is accompanied by an original 6' x 5'6" Ryan Danger mural, painted on distressed pallet wood during a live performance at the International Motorcycle Show in Washington, D.C. The black-and-white work was created to celebrate and promote the then-new Ducati Scrambler line, giving the motorcycle and artwork a shared connection to the launch era of the Scrambler platform.

Together, the motorcycle and mural represent a unique piece of contemporary Ducati design history.

About Ryan Danger

Ryan Danger gained international recognition in 2011 when he won Ducati’s Worldwide Monster Challenge, creating a custom Ducati Monster that balanced substantial artistic interpretation with the unmistakable identity of the original motorcycle.

The win began a relationship with Ducati that led to Ryan contributing to additional one-off projects, including the widely recognized Martini Ducati Panigale, created during the launch era of Ducati’s then-new Panigale superbike.

His work blends motorcycle design, fabrication, graphic art, and fine art, resulting in machines that exist somewhere between functional motorcycles and collectible art.

Mileage & Mechanical Condition

Exact mileage is unknown because the customization eliminated the original ABS and speed-sensor arrangement. Based on the motorcycle’s history and extremely limited use, mileage is estimated at fewer than 500 miles.

The motorcycle presents in excellent, essentially as-new condition.

June 2026 Service

Despite its limited use, the motorcycle received a mechanical service in June 2026 that included:

  • Engine oil change

  • Front brake fluid flush

  • Rear brake fluid flush

  • Existing fuel drained

  • One gallon of fresh non-ethanol gasoline added with fuel stabilizer

  • Approximately 20-minute test ride following service

Because of the motorcycle’s extremely low use, there is no conventional mileage-based service history.

Provenance

The motorcycle and accompanying Ryan Danger artwork were previously sold together in 2023 for $21,500.

This offering presents an opportunity to acquire the complete pairing: a one-of-one custom Ducati created by an artist with established ties to the marque, together with an original large-format artwork directly connected to Ducati's promotion of the Scrambler platform.

Offered as a complete motorcycle and artwork collection: $21,500.
